Party Time!!

Oh how I love the festive season!!

Recently I attended one of Ollie Mays winter fashion shoots...and I have fallen in LOVE!! Being a self proclaimed Magpie I could not help but lust over a dress from the new collection! Its fun, flirty, SPARKLY and is is called the Kourtney dress!

When will I wear it? Girls night out, Christmas parties, NYE, to do my weekly food shop! Haha you get the picture, I love it :)

Autumn Loving!

Oh how I love Autumn!!

The simple things in life...

I don't know about you but I love the simple things in life: cups of tea, a sunny day, my favorite show on TV, making someone laugh...and simple yet effective items of clothing!

I believe every girl should own:

A good pair of blue jeans

A good pair of black jeans

3 plain vests 

Black heels 

A bag that will go with everything

A statement liptstick

An LBD

And a signature shirt/blouse that can be dressed up or down!

Recently I have fallen in with the Ollie May Black Buttoned Blouse. I've been searching for a black blouse/shirt for a while now, but with the summer trends screaming neon brights, its been pretty tricky! A lass I have found one and I couldn't be happier.

Don't you just love it when you find an item of clothing and you can instantly think of different ways you can wear it an style it? Autumn and Winter are coming for us and the only way to be prepared is to own a signature black blouse!

What can you wear it with?

Currently while the sun is still out I am matching mine with cute shorts or I'll I tucked it into a high waist skater skirt!

Other options: Leather leggings. Jeans (black or aubergine would be fab). High waist pencil skirts (or skater). Leather shorts. I also think chunky gold jewelry would look gorgeous with it, especially with a pop of colour thrown in! So yes this shirt will give you a lot of use - simple yet effective and only £24.00!!

Do you Graze?

Every Thursday without fail I get a little brown box sent to me filled with the most delicious healthy snacks! Where are they being sent from? GRAZE!

I cannot praise this company enough! Basically each box cost around £3.95 and you can chose what day you want it be to be sent on - I go with Thursday because quiet frankly I find Thursday rather dull! - Whats inside? FOOOOOD!! Heatlhy, organic, naughty, fruity, amazing food!

To give you an example here is my Graze box I received today!

Pretty awesome hey? Each little box tells you whats exactly inside and it will even tell you if its one of your 5 a day, if its a super food, if its high in fibre, and if its a naughty snack it will even tell you the calorie count! Whats great about Graze is you can go on their website and chose the type of foods you like eating, and I'm pretty certain your first box is FREE! 

All in all I highly recommend Graze, I have been religiously receiving my boxes for over a year now - it is certainly a little box of happiness every Thursday! :)

Laurens Way Big Bun!

I am a big fan of all products from Lauren's Way, so when I got my hands on their Big Bun (that sounds a bit naughty) I knew I had to show you all how awesome it is!

Now When I say big bun I really mean BIG!! Approximately 6 inches wide this bun really is a show stopper! Now you guys must be thinking 6 inches wide wooooaaaaa that thing must weigh a tone, but in all fairness it really doesn't - don't get me wrong you can feel it on your head, but it doesn't annoy you or cause a strain...its strangely comfortable and its only £9.95!!

Quick Summer Fix

Hey everyone!

Just thought I'd do a quick blog on my summer makeup essentials right now - and they're all at an affordable price!

Starting off with Garniers BB cream! In the summer I like to stay away from heavy foundations and coverage and lean towards something light and easy to apply. Let me tell you Garnier have answered my prayers and more! They call it the "Miracle Skin Perfector" and they did not lie! This liquid formula is so light it feels like I'm wearing nothing, not only that it gives me a natural glow and covers all my blemishes!.....perfection!

Moving on to Rimmels "Wake me up" concealer. This concealer promises to contain an anti-fatique effect and a radiant glow, and if I'm honest....it really does! Fabulously I'm blessed with horrific dark circles permanently under my eyes, so this little gem is a god send to me! I am extremely fussy with concealers as I find many to be either too cakey, hard to blend, or just dries my under eye skin out....not an attractive look. But alas this concealer is easy to apply, blends well and keeps my skin hydrated! 10/10

Next on the quick fix list is another beauty from Rimmel and that's their ScandalEyes mascara! If you want defined long eyelashes that doesn't look like a spider has befriended your face then this is the product for you! Eyelashes look darkened and enhanced but still with a natural feel to them, which is perfect for an everyday look. Not to mention its really easy to take off....don't you find some mascaras an absolute nightmare to get rid off and the end of the day?

Nearly finished.... I love a good winged out eye for a day look, and I find a gel liner and essential to create this. I swear by MAC gel pot Fluidline in the shade Black Trick. This little pot lasts for ages! I find so many gel pots dry out really quickly, but no this little guy just keeps going! I think the two things I love mainly about this product is 1. its so easy to apply  2. it stays put for the whole day. What more could you want hey? Apply this gel liner with a small angle brush, I recommend MAC 266 brush.

And FINALLY we are left with my favorite product of the moment and that is L'Oreal's lipstick in the shade 501 Nude Ingenue! This lipstick in my opinion goes with EVERYTHING and will match every skin tone. It glides on with such ease, has such a lovely natural shimmer to it and smells like pink icing! LOVE LOVE LOVE!....may I also add the packaging is super chic!

Satchel Loving

Its festival season and we our LOVING quiet possibly the most useful form of handbag around....the SATCHEL! 

These practical and rather adorable bags have been a recurring summer trend for years now, and we are not remotely surprised! Ollie May ruffle blouse

Its a beautiful day and today I'm wearing the Ollie May Ruffle Blouse!!

Ruffles ruffles ruffles = fun, fabulous, fresh!

I can't help but feel sophisticated in this blouse, I just want to drink tea from a china set and demand cucumber sandwiches! I've gone quite causal with the look saying that - with some baby blue Topshop jeans, drop earrings from ASOS and a very messy top bun - but hey I think it works!

This blouse can easily be dressed up or down, I'm defiantly feeling inspired to match it with some leather leggings and killer heels (very Kardashian) for an evening look.....maybe a red lip stick to match?? Fab!

The fabric is a creamy soft chiffon, and can be unbuttoned all the way down - the collar actually looks really cute if you fold it down like a shirt, it gives it a more casual feel.
